SWF Protector

Let's suppose you have created an outstanding SWF animation and you would like to publish it online, for everybody to see it. But unfortunately, there are some people that would like to do more than just play the Flash file. With the help of special programs or decompilers, these people can extract all the content from the SWF file and can edit and modify any file, pretending it's their own work. Fortunately, there is a solution to this and that's the SWF Protector application. As the name clearly states, the program allows protecting and encrypting any type of SWF file, thus making it impossible to decrypt, no matter what software is used, and keeping the user's work protected.

The program can run on almost any version of the Windows operating system and takes little time and only a few clicks to install. It takes up around 4 MB of hard disk space, thus being ideal for older computers with limited hard disk space.

Speaking about the program's interface, if features two modes of protecting SWF files, a simple and an advanced mode. The simple mode just requires opening the desired SWF file or group of files and even a complete folder. Having done this, clicking on the protection button will automatically protect all the opened files. The advanced mode allows selecting which aspect of the SWF movie should be protected. Thus, the user can only protect certain files for not being decompiled.

The advanced mode is only recommended for experienced users who have worked with SWF files before. For spotting any problems or just seeing how the program performs, there is a log viewer available in the interface, which states the complete functionality of the program. All the opened SWF files will be displayed as a list in the program's interface and clicking on any of them will display some information, like the compression ratio and the ActionScript version that was used to create them.
